What are Chemical Peels?
Chemical peels are an exfoliation method using a controlled acid, the acid works to remove debris, blackheads and dead skin from the epidermis. The peels we offer are superficial only penetrating the epidermis.

Does it hurt?
Chemical Peels can sometimes bring mild discomfort, they can be tingly, itchy and sometimes lightly be warm, the burning sensation from chemical peels doesn't normally occur but is normal for a mild version of this to be felt.
How often can the treatment be done?
Due to age, the speed that our cells turn over (produce new skin cells) slows down as we get older. Because of this under the age of 40 we recommend this treatment every 4 weeks, if over the age of 40 we recommend every 6 weeks.
